SCRUTINISING DAYS 2011

Scrutinising will take place between 10am and 1pm on the following days:

2011 Scrutinising dates:

Sat 2nd April Jon, Sun 3rd April Brian,
Sat 7th May Gary, Sun 8th May Tim,
Sat 4th June Nigel, Sun 5th June Jon.

AT ANY OTHER TIME ITS IS STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. THIS CAN BE ARRANGED BY CALLING ONE OF THE PEOPLE LISTED BELOW, BUT WILL INCUR A £10 FINE AS PER PREVIOUS YEARS.

On each of the above days, one of the people listed will be on duty, if not by the slipway, they will be somewhere on site.
Please remember ALL your paperwork including 2 copies of your insurance, current year membership card and SBDA’s for all drivers of your boat.

Jack plug fitted and working
Boat number is correctly displayed. i.e. 3” high letters
Trailer includes BL number
Steering is firm and free. Cables and Joints are not worn
Drivers seat is secure
Battery is charged and secure
Mirror and RED flag
Towers, booms and skylon etc.

Also for inboard boats:

Automatic fire extinguisher in bilge / engine area
Bilge blower fitted and working

For non BLWSC member, an SBDA is only valid when a full membership to the BWSF is held. For non BLWSC members a valid BWSF membership must be provided along with an SBDA. Please provide a copy of all SBDA’s including BWSF membership cards for non BLWSC members in the insurance book. These documents should also be available for inspection on demand when non BLWSC members are on site.
